This year the children from Year 1 learnt how to write poems themselves. Teachers from other classes chose the best self-written poem in each class.
There was also a homework task. Parents worked with the children to choose and learn a poem which the child presented to the school.
The best readers were also chosen.
All the winners received memorable gifts.
