Masha’s Mum

Masha’s Mum

«I am very grateful to ENS for giving me the opportunity to raise a child who’s benefited from comprehensive development in terms of pedagogy, psychology, and culture.»

Masha has been going to ENS since 2014. I am very grateful to ENS for giving me the opportunity to raise a child who’s benefited from comprehensive development in terms of pedagogy, psychology, and culture. Watching the way Masha has been taught at ENS, I can say with confidence that she will have no difficulty continuing her studies either at an international school or at a Russian one. I think Masha’s experience learning and growing up in a dialogue between Russian and British culture has left a positive imprint on her thinking. This is reflected in an unusual and even extraordinary approach to decision making and reasoning, in the way she adapts quickly to any new environment, and in greater social openness. Masha switches fluently and, I think, naturally from Russian to English and back again. I like the way any issues are resolved collectively with a teacher, a psychologist and the parent. Overall, what I see is a healthy and happy child who will always be given the attention they need: no more and no less than the other children. What does any mum need beyond that?

Besides the main curriculum, ENS offers a wide range of different kinds of extracurricular activities. Masha really likes drawing, chess and rhythmic gymnastics.
