I grew up in the city of Windsor, Ontario. I was always fascinated with the way the human brain works, and pursued a degree in psychology at the University of Windsor.
From there, after working a vast array of jobs, I received my CELTA certification to work as an English teacher.

My first experience teaching children was in 2014 as an ESL teacher. From there, I have worked in both EYFS and IB schools in Russia and Latvia, with children aged from 2.5 to 8 years old.

Having emigrated to Canada from Russia in my early childhood , I have first hand experience in growing up in a bilingual family. I now have two children of my own, who are also bilingual. In my free time, I enjoy staying fit, riding mountain bike trails, and fixing cars with my son.
