My love for working with children started in 1993, when I lived abroad, and was given the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant in The American school of Bucharest. I was surrounded by people with an extensive range of experience, a passion for a learning and the development of children. I knew from then it was a career I would pursue with the same enthusiasm and passion.
After returning to the UK in 1997, I completed a degree in BA (Hons) English and History and a post graduate qualification in School Centred Teacher Training. Throughout my teaching years in the UK I have been able to keep up-to-date with the ever changing developments in Primary Education. I have worked in a variety of schools since 2003, mainly focusing on KS2, but with a desire to return to EYFS in international school where my initial enthusiasm began.
