The Christmas spirit at ENS Onegino began well before the holidays. The beautifully decorated lobby and classrooms, Christmas songs playing everywhere, and the cheerful pre-holiday bustle created a truly festive atmosphere.
Then the celebration day arrived. For the younger children, the concert theme was the Nativity: in a costumed performance, the children presented the story of Bethlehem.
The older children staged a Victorian moral tale, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, about the miser Ebenezer Scrooge. Costumes, realistic scenery, and period-style English helped transport the audience back to Dickensian England.
The performance ended with cries of “Bravo!”, compliments for all the talented actors, and warm thanks to the teachers!
