This spring, ENS Mosfilm and ENS Dobrynya welcomed special guests—the “Double Bass Quartet.” The musicians prepared an interactive programme, “Classical Music for Children,” where they introduced string instruments (the violin, viola, and double bass), explained how they differ and what they sound like, and talked about the bow—what it is and whether a concert can happen without it.
During the concert, our pupils became orchestra musicians, composers, and conductors. The audience enjoyed enchanting music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Johann Strauss.
