Harvest Festival at ENS Karamyshevskaya

ENS Karamyshevskaya held a Harvest Festival week.

The theme of harvesting is always closely connected with gratitude and charity. From 15 to 19 October, ENS Karamyshevskaya organised a food collection to support families in need, while teachers explained to the children what generosity means and why it is important to share. On the final day of the festival, each child dressed in autumnal crimson-and-gold colours, choosing a costume of their favourite fruit or vegetable, and some even chose nature-themed outfits (a leaf, a twig, and more).

As part of the learning activities, children brought various food items from home and, together with their teachers, discussed which seeds different crops grow from and how fruits and vegetables develop, as well as how and where grains, sugar, and other products are produced.

All the food items the children brought to school throughout the week were donated to families in need.
