"Nika" Foundation for Helping Homeless Animals

ENS staff and parents support the NIKA Foundation. If you and your children are considering ways to help our smaller friends, we encourage you to learn more about the NIKA Foundation for helping homeless animals.

The NIKA charitable foundation for helping homeless animals was established in the summer of 2011 and began its work by opening a small shelter for 50 abandoned animals—cats and dogs. Today, the total number of animals in the foundation’s care is over 200.

The NIKA Foundation is a whole support facility for homeless and abandoned animals. It provides special conditions for animals with disabilities. At present, the total number of animals under the foundation’s care is over 200.

The foundation’s main mission is to help its animals find new homes and loving owners. Each animal has its own story and a difficult journey, but they all share one hope: to find a warm home where they will be loved. On the foundation’s website, you can find different ways to help—how to become a sponsor/guardian for a pet, how to help by walking the animals, and which medicines can be purchased for the shelter. You can also donate financially using the bank details listed on the website.

If you don’t have time to take part in person, you can pass your donation to the foundation through the administrators at any English Nursery and Primary School campus, as ENS staff also support and assist the foundation.
