Harvest Festival Collected 370 370 kg of Food for Families in Need

In October, ENS pupils celebrated a bright autumn harvest festival. They explored and tasted a variety of fruits and vegetables, learned how fluffy, fragrant bread is made from wheat, and how sugar is produced from sugar beet.

With parents’ support, we collected more than 370370 kg of tasty and nutritious food. As part of ENS’s charity programme to support families facing difficult life circumstances, we distributed these donations to families in need. Some of the food was delivered to the “Warm House” shelter for mothers with young children run by the Otkazniki Charitable Foundation, and the rest was sent to the social charity service of the Donskoy Monastery, which supports large families as well as families going through difficult times.
