The English Nursery & Primary School team visited GBOU School No. 1569 “Sozvezdie” as part of the city educational project “Hospitable Schools.”
A special open lesson was held for our team based on the creative interdisciplinary learning programme developed by Doctor of Psychology N. B. Shumakova. The lesson for Year 3 students was conducted by teacher N. I. Avdeeva.
During the lesson, the children demonstrated their ability to formulate hypotheses, conduct research, and select facts to support their conclusions. We noted how confidently they worked with various information sources, analysed and summarised data, made predictions, thought critically, and collaborated effectively in groups.
After the open lesson, a joint methodological meeting was held between the teams of “Sozvezdie” School and English Nursery & Primary School to discuss the practical implementation of the interdisciplinary learning programme.
