A birthday is perhaps the most eagerly awaited celebration for every child—especially when it falls right before New Year’s!
The excitement of something magical and the hope that wishes will come true can truly be felt in the air.
Of course, we couldn’t let down the children from the orphanage in Zhukovka, Bryansk Region. Together with the parents of ENS pupils and our friends from the “Children with Love” charity foundation, we prepared a real surprise: we handed the Good Fairy the children’s birthday letters filled with their wishes.
Just like the children themselves, all the letters were different. One child dreamed of a little tiger costume, while another wished for comfortable football boots and a football of their own. The Good Fairy treated each wish with special care and attention, wrapped every gift beautifully, and tied shiny bows. The children could hardly believe their wishes had truly come true. They carefully unwrapped the rustling packages and, with amazement, discovered that yes—it was exactly what they had been dreaming about for so long!
The children sincerely thank the Good Fairy for the gifts and the wonderful celebration and wish her a Happy New Year! And we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the parents who take part in ENS’s charity projects with “Children with Love” and help us care for orphaned children—making their lives happier, cosier, and brighter.
