On February 14, our Nursery (ages 3–4) and Reception (ages 4–5) children came to school dressed in red, white, and pink—the colours that symbolise Friendship and Love.
At ENS Dobrynya, the children spent the day all together, without being divided into classes, ages, or groups. In advance, they made cards for their friends and loved ones and posted them into a “magic” mailbox—and on February 14, each child received a card with a greeting. By tradition, the morning began with a Friends’ Parade and upbeat dancing. After a short break, the children started making heart-shaped photo frames for their parents. And what celebration is complete without a treat? For Love and Friendship Day, the children baked heart-shaped biscuits themselves using a secret recipe.
At ENS Mosfilm, the children talked about kindness, caring for loved ones, and friendship. They made paper garlands, decorated cookies, and created heart-shaped cards for the people they love.
