I was born and raised in South Africa. Being raised in an English speaking country with a Russian mom and multicultural surroundings has always kept my view of the world colourful and interesting. I took an interest in languages from an early age, learning Afrikaans and German at school and trying my hand at French and Portuguese later in life - Russian has been a lifelong battle that I will win.

I have worked with all ages, native languages and language levels over the years. Working with young learners is a hugely rewarding experience as we watch them learn about the world around them and always strive to encourage and positively guide them. I believe in the importance of creating a comfortable and nurturing classroom environment, where children feel safe and encouraged to take a natural interest in their surroundings. We learn through exploration, engaging activities and games, songs and of course lots of creative and colorful projects. In my spare time I enjoy the arts, staying active and eating good food.
